Newborn sessions are calm, baby-led, and designed to keep both parents and baby comfortable. With nearly fifteen years behind the camera, every session moves at your baby's pace inside a warm, safe studio — and ends in first portraits you will keep for a lifetime.

Planning your newborn session
Congratulations, and thank you for your interest. As a newborn photographer serving the Syracuse area for nearly fifteen years, you can feel confident that your baby is in caring, capable hands. These first days are fleeting — here is how the booking process works.
When should you book your newborn photographer?
Because I book months in advance and offer only a limited number of newborn sessions each month, reserving your place early is essential. A non-refundable $100 retainer is required at the time of booking and is applied toward your session balance. Payment may be made via Venmo, PayPal, or by check or cash drop-off.
Once your baby arrives, please include me on your list of important contacts. I ask that you reach out within 24 hours of birth to secure your session date. Sessions are scheduled within the baby's first 21 days of life, after you have had a few days at home to settle in — this window allows us to achieve those soft, curled, sleepy poses that make newborn photography so special.
If you would like to include siblings or parents, we can discuss options in advance to ensure everyone is beautifully incorporated.
What is provided for the session?
I provide a thoughtfully curated collection of wraps, headbands, hats and props for both boys and girls, selected to reflect my signature style. I am continually refreshing my inventory to keep each session feeling timeless and unique.
If you have a meaningful family heirloom or special item you would like included, I am always happy to incorporate it.
Where does the session take place?
All newborn sessions take place in my in-home studio, designed to be warm, calm and comfortable for both baby and parents. I do not offer in-home newborn sessions at a client's residence.
The studio is located in the Syracuse area and serves families from Camillus, Liverpool, Baldwinsville, Manlius, Cicero and surrounding Central New York communities.
