Big D's has spent years doing the same thing in the same region: moving people around Central New York and the Finger Lakes without anything going wrong.
Most of what we do is somebody's wedding, somebody's fortieth, or a day out on the wine trail that has been in the calendar for months. There is no second attempt at any of those, which shapes how the company is run more than anything else.
That is why the maintenance schedule is heavier than the law requires, why we own the inspection facility rather than renting time in someone else's, and why the fleet is larger than the bookings strictly justify. A spare vehicle sitting in the yard is what turns a mechanical fault on a Saturday morning into a phone call rather than a disaster.
Airport transport
We acquired Ithaca Airline Limousine, and with it the airport business across Central New York. That side runs to a different rhythm to the event work: flat rates, tracked flights, and a driver who has already adjusted the pickup by the time you land and check your phone.
Where we go
Syracuse and the Finger Lakes, out toward Buffalo for game days and down through the Southern Tier. We do not travel to New York City and we do not go out of state. The work we do well is regional, and we would rather be excellent across eleven counties than mediocre across a hundred.

The person who
actually shows up
Every driver holds a commercial license with a passenger endorsement, has passed a background check, and turns up in uniform. They handle luggage, they know the region, and on a wine tour they will tell you which winery has the better lunch.
They also carry the responsibility for the legal side: hours of service, the trip log, the pre-trip inspection. It is a professional job and we staff it like one.
