New York's licensed cannabis market is spread across the region in a way that is genuinely awkward to drive yourself: dispensaries in the towns, farms well outside them, and very little of it clustered. That is the problem a tour solves.
Cannabus runs on the same fleet and the same drivers as our wine and brewery tours. You pick the stops, we build the timings, and nobody in the group has to be the one staying sober to drive home.
The legal part
We only visit businesses licensed by the New York State Office of Cannabis Management. Consumption on board is not permitted. Our vehicles are commercial passenger vehicles operating under federal motor carrier rules, and that line is not negotiable. Purchases travel sealed, as state law requires.
All riders must be twenty-one or over, with ID. Dispensaries will check at the door regardless of what we do.
Building the day
Three or four stops across five to six hours is the comfortable shape. Call ahead. Several dispensaries limit group sizes or ask for notice before a bus arrives, and a few of the farms are appointment-only.
