The Vintage Trolley

Open-sided, wood-benched and genuinely old. Heated and air conditioned, so it runs in October as happily as it does in June. Nothing else in Central New York looks like it in a photograph.

First come,
first reserved

Vehicles are held against a signed agreement and a deposit, in the order requests arrive. We keep a large fleet precisely so there is nearly always something suitable, but we cannot guarantee a specific unit months out.

If your vehicle is unavailable on the day, whether from service, an earlier booking running long or a mechanical fault, we substitute a like-for-like vehicle of the same size or larger and tell you before you are standing outside waiting for it.

Choosing a size

Every vehicle lists two numbers. The range is what it is licensed to carry. The "best at" figure is what it seats comfortably once people have coats, bags and somewhere to put a drink.

For a wine tour or anything over four hours, book to the comfortable number rather than the maximum. For a twenty minute shuttle run, the maximum is fine.

Inspected more often
than the law requires

New York requires a NYSDOT inspection every six months. We run our own inspection facility, service every vehicle every three months or sooner on mileage, and do a CDL pre-trip inspection before each departure and again on return.
